When will my order ship?

We ship Monday through Friday and most in-stock orders ship within 24 - 48 hours from the order date. Orders placed on the weekend and select holidays will be processed on the next business day. Please note that certain pieces may be out of stock during holiday season, which can result in extended delivery time. We will make every effort to communicate with you as soon as possible regarding any potential shipping delays. For more information, please refer to our Shipping & Returns page. Can I chat with a customer service representative?

Help, I lost one of my earrings! Can I buy just one instead of a pair?

I’m looking for a specific Humans Before Handles item
 and I want to see it in person, do you provide additional pictures?


Our full collection is available to be viewed with video as well! Email us at humansbeforehandles@gmail.com to receive a close up, high-resolution video of the style you love!


Can I update the shipping on my order after placing?

As soon as you can, just email humansbeforehandles@gmail.com to update your shipping information. We are unable to make changes to the items in your order once it has been placed, so sorry for this inconvenience! We are happy to cancel the order and help you place a new one, though.

When should I remove my jewelry?

 
Your earrings are made for everyday wear, but not everyday handling. We suggest earrings be put on and stay on for optimal use and wear. When we remove them for bed, workouts, showering, they can weaken and the brass can turn over time. Also, keep them away from perfume and excessive water to avoid discolouring.

How should I care for my jewelry?

All our products are imported and made with love.

Please be care and make sure your earrings are stored in a safe place, keep them away from perfume and excessive water to avoid discolouring. Some pieces may be delicate so take care of your jewels when wearing and storing. Damage from careless wear or storage is not the responsibility of Humans Before Handles. 

For a light cleaning, we recommend a soft, jewelry wipe.

Need to make an  exchange for Faulty Goods?

If your goods arrive faulty or damaged, we are more than happy to offer an exchange on unworn and undamaged faulty items that still have the earring card and backs attached, but you must let us know within 48 hours from receipt by emailing us at humansbeforehandles@gmail.com quoting your order number.

Please understand all products featuring cubic zirconia, and brass finishes will vary in appearance. This is not considered a flaw in the product and will not be the reason for replacement.

Do you offer notes included in packages that are gifts?

Thanks for thinking of us as the perfect gift for your loved one. We are happy to include a note on a letterhead notecard if you would like to gift our earrings. Please email us at humansbeforehandles@gmail.com and we will get you squared away!

Do we offer refunds?

Due to the sanitary nature of our product, our products are final sale. We do not offer refunds but are happy to honor exchanges due to faulty goods!
